Crankcase Chronicles
A tricked-out Land Rover, stunning BMW cafe racer, Airfix on Steroids and a must-read publication

I have created this newsletter as a hub for everything motor-related: from captivating pictures and the latest news to intriguing products and accessories that catch my eye.
Rather than a narrow focus on a particular automotive niche, this newsletter takes a broad view of what's out there - things that are interesting, cool, and informative. My tastes range from classic cars and hotrods to mopeds and vans, and I often delve into the artistic and fashion aspects associated with these realms.
If you're ready for an eclectic journey through my automotive passions, I invite you to sign up and let's embark on this adventure together.
News.
Cars.
A fully kitted-out Land Rover that I came across in the wilds of Marylebone.
I’m not sure how off-road this ever gets but it’s a stunning beast either way.
Bikes.
I love cafe style bikes and this BMW cafe racer is a little different .
Built by the Cafe’d Racer who now goes under the name sudomoto. Check out that trick exhaust, but what’s not to love from the stance to the tool bag.
Art - Airfix on steroids.
Have you ever put together an Airfix model? When I was a small child my father used to build model aircraft for me and hang them, in a dog fight, from the ceiling of my bedroom, great memories.
But how about a 1:1 full-scale model motorbike……thought that might grab your interest! Check out the link below to see this amazing creation.
Youtube. - channels I’m watching
A very entertaining short film, with Jude Law & Giancarlo Giannini, check out the other Gentlemens Wager film on Youtube as well.
EDC.
The Silver Fox Tools Atom Wrench.
Beautifully made in the UK Silver Fox tools are works of art!
The Atom wrench is one of my favourite items in their range of products closely followed by the pocket Axe….yes an axe that fits in your pocket and it’s brilliant.
Lego motors .
Reading material.
The Road Rat
You have the unusual option of which cover art you would like when purchasing this edition of the publication, I hesitate to call it a magazine because it is far more than that.
Filled to the brim with stunning images the photographs alone are enough to keep you occupied for quite a while . Add in the graphics, editorials and all round quality and you have a stellar read that should grace any petrol heads desk, coffee table or bedside cabinet.
The photography alone is worth the cover price and if you look at no other links on this newsletter I would urge you to check out this one. I have links to this publication monetary or otherwise I just think its a stonking read, so check it out.
