Photograph taken at Salon Prive
The photograph above was taken at Salon Prive in the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea, home of the Chelsea Pensioners and the Chelsea Flower Show. I have a large number of photographs that were taken at the show and these will be posted to my Instagram page. I also have several hours of video from the event which will be split into short clips and posted on the YouTube channel. Links to both are at the bottom of the page.
News. The EV slow down.
Ford cuts battery orders as EV losses top $100,000 per car
As EV prices have plunged, Ford's losses per car are more than double those from last year.
Ford has decided to reduce orders from battery suppliers to address mounting losses in its electric vehicle sector. This move comes as Ford scales back due to a slowing market for plug-in models.
With the drop in EV prices and slowing demand, Ford's losses per EV soared to over $100,000.
At the same time, battery manufacturers are struggling with a surplus of unsold stock.
In response, Ford is speeding up the development of smaller EVs for release in 2026 with a starting price of $25,000. They are confident that these models will be profitable within a year of release!

The GT40
A video from a few years ago about the fabulous GT40, it’s such a cool car!
Bikes.
A councillor in Paris is calling for a ban on motorcycles and scooters in the French capital between the hours of 10pm and 7am. Noise pollution is the apparent reason for the suggested ban. Considering the number of mopeds, scooters and bikes in Paris this is bound to ruffle a few feathers. It has been suggested that removing the cobbled roads from the French capital would be another way of reducing the road noise at night.

Art
Pinstriping is one of those skills I can watch all day, the skill level required to do this kind of freehand artwork is amazing.
I recently had a chance to check out some beautiful motors in London and one in particular was stunning, beautiful bodywork, great design, cool paint job and then vinyl pinstripes down the side of the vehicle it just took the edge off. If you have a valuable car or bike in show condition why would you use vinyl artwork?
